Sardanisca Cultural Centre

Sardanisca is a small family-run cultural centre in Courelas do Monte Branco, Azaruja, near Évora, in the Alentejo region. Its mission is to contribute to the promotion and dissemination of contemporary and popular art in the region through the organisation of artistic residencies, cultural events and training activities in the areas of visual arts, performing arts and music.

An essential part of Sardanisca’s mission is to strengthen the dialogue between art and community, actively involving the inhabitants and institutions of Azaruja in its initiatives.
